WATERLOO, ONTARIO - Dalsa Corp., an international leader in high performance digital imaging and semiconductors, announces that Derek Brown will retire from the company's board of directors, effective immediately. Brown's departure follows his submission of a letter of resignation, which was accepted by the company's chairman. Brown has served as a director of the company since 2005.

"Over the past five years, Derek has contributed significantly to the Board and to Dalsa," says Savvas Chamberlain, chairman and founder of DALSA. "I would like to acknowledge his contributions and wish him all the best in the future."

Dalsa provides high performance digital imaging and semiconductors with approximately 1,000 employees world-wide. Established in 1980, the company designs, develops, manufactures, and markets digital imaging products and solutions, in addition to providing semiconductor products and services.
