BARRINGTON, NJ—Edmund Optics (EO) will offer seven lines of Schneider Optics imaging lenses in its catalog and Web site, including 3 CCD lenses, F0.95 fixed focal length lenses, bi-lateral telecentric lenses and compact VIS-NIR lenses. These items complement Edmund’s existing line of EO designed and developed imaging optics and components. Edmund Optics also offers onsite integration services through its network of Vision Integration Partners.

“We have great respect for Schneider’s optical expertise and quality, and look forward to expanding our relationship with them from catalog to custom products. The addition of these Schneider imaging lenses to the Edmund Optics lineup means that customers can compare amongst a large variety of optics, selecting exactly what they need to build the right system every time,” says CEO Robert Edmund.

“We are excited to select Edmund Optics as one of our key distributors for these products. To know that Schneider lenses will now be available to more than two million global Edmund customers is marketing at its best. We look forward to working with Edmund Optics to create the most expansive, innovative imaging product mix available on the market today,” says Stu Singer, vice president, Industrial Optics, for Schneider Optics.

The Schneider Group manufactures lenses for industrial applications, photographic lenses, optical filters, cinema projection lenses and optical accessories.<
