AHRENSBURG, GERMANY—Allied Vision Technologies GmbH (AVT) has expanded its development center in Ahrensburg, Germany, located near the northern city of Hamburg. AVT’s R&D activities were relocated to a larger facility, and additional employees were hired to increase development capabilities both in hardware and software.

The AVT development team moved into the CCA (City Center Ahrensburg). AVT occupies the first floor with about 13,000 square feet.

Frank Grube, president and CEO of AVT, says, “We have grown faster than expected in recent years. Our former offices are already no longer sufficient.” Not only will all current employees have enough room in the CCA, but the area also is designed for additional growth for up to 50 employees. “With this move, we also anticipate the next expansion stage,” says Grube.
