MUNICH, GERMANY—MVTec Software GmbH has launched its MVTec Image Acquisition Partner Program, to strengthen its relationship with suppliers of image acquisition devices.

As a supplier of standard software products for machine vision, one of MVTec’s primary goals is the development and support of interfaces to provide the best possible integration of hundreds of industrial image acquisition devices into MVTec’s software products Halcon and ActivVisionTools.

One important element of this program is the close collaboration in developing and maintaining these particular image acquisition interfaces as well as in potential support cases. The program guarantees that both the hardware and the software manufacturer have sound knowledge of each other’s products for providing an optimal image acquisition solution.

“The new MVTec Image Acquisition Partner Program provides great benefit for our customers,” says Christoph Zierl, director software development at MVTec and responsible for third party integration. “It ensures that both parties are closely connected and continuously work together.”
